Coach Eddie is a former Division II Collegiate Basketball All-American. An elite scorer, Coach Eddie averaged over 30 points a game in his senior year of High School and 24 PPG in his senior year of college. He has been inducted to the Pittsburgh Basketball Club Hall of Fame class of 2020. Coach Eddie was also known for his defensive prowess. He still holds his college all time and single season steals record. On top of his collegiate playing experience, Coach Eddie has experience of over 5 years of individual skill development and training with student athletes in both Houston and Chicago. At 6’3, Coach Eddie has the ability to work with guards and wings at all levels to teach scoring, team and individual techniques and shot development. Coach Eddie works with teams at all levels of our Academy, from grades 5-12.

Personally, Coach Eddie lives in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago with his wife and 2 kids.

Coach Macon is a former professional basketball player, playing in both Europe and the United States. A former collegiate all-American, he has also spent over 10 years as a varsity boys and girls basketball coach, building programs and developing players. At 6’10 inches tall, Coach Macon has the unique ability to teach post players skill development, both offensively and defensively, while also understanding how to break down offensive and defensive film to teach players the ins and outs of off-the-court strategy. Coach Macon works primarily with our 8th-12th grade teams, but is available for individual skill development with younger players as well. He is a USA and NCAA Certified Coach.

Personally, Coach Macon is a school administrator in Chicago Public Schools. He lives in Northwest Chicago with his wife and their 4 children.

Syed moved to Chicago in the 90s and has over 15 years of experience playing organized basketball and 8 years coaching. He wanted to expand his own knowledge of the game by coaching his own kids in Travel and AAU teams in the past. With that, his passion for basketball grew which he networked within the basketball community and started an AAU team which would be the perfect opportunity where he can help players grow and he can grow along with them.  Syed will establish a learning environment that encompasses more than high quality basketball fundamentals but also embraces the culture where family and teamwork is valued. Coach Syed works with teams at all levels of our Academy, from grades 5-9. Personally, Coach Syed lives in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago with his wife and 3 kids.
